My 2025 Black Week Winners (No Hype, No Affiliate Links, Just Value)
Hey fellow music explorers!
Black Week is loud, chaotic, and full of “must-buy” lists… so here’s something different:
No affiliate links. No sponsorship. No pressure.
Just my personal winners, the things I’d actually recommend this week if you’re looking to upgrade your sound palette.
Here are my quick highlights:
Best Free Instrument: Glade (Audio Imperia)
This was a tough choice. There are fantastic freebies out there, and Pianobook is full of beautiful community-made gems.
But Glade really stands out: a full toolkit with professional sound and surprisingly deep playability.
Review video is in the making — stay tuned!
Best Hybrid Scoring Deal: Jaeger (Audio Imperia)
You might think I’m a fan-boy… and maybe I am. 😄
But to me, Jaeger is the most complete hybrid toolkit to get started.
Instant punch, modern scoring power, and always solid value when discounted.

Best Fantasy Library: Hollywood Fantasy Orchestra (East West)
Very close call. Eldenvale is beautiful. But at 179 USD, East West delivers massive value for the fantasy sound world.
👉 See me use it in Action
Best Intimate Library: Brass Band Soloists (Fracture Sounds)
For me, this is the most exciting recent innovation.
A fresh, lyrical take on brass, and Fracture Sounds absolutely nailed the legato engine.
It’s charming, characterful, and incredibly musical.

Best Pick for Beginners in 2025: East West Composer Cloud
I’m not a fan of subscriptions…
But at 99 USD, Composer Cloud becomes the most comprehensive, cost-effective way to explore an enormous range of sounds.

Curious to know what I’m getting for my own studio? (spoiler: not a sample library this time). Stay tuned, I'll keep you posted on YouTube!
Livestream Coming Up
I’ll be scoring live on stream on December 20th - composing from scratch, answering questions, and exploring one library chosen by YOU.
Thanks for being part of this journey.
My promise: I earn nothing from this email, but I hope you gain clarity, inspiration, and a few new tools to spark your creativity.
Keep creating,
Samuel
